IMPLEMENTED: Remove empty filters from DOM

Browser: Chrome 120
OS: Windows

Hi,

Not sure if this is a bug report or a feature request. But in new filters, if the options of a filter are empty and we have activated the Hide empty option, it will be hidden in the front end of the filter, but they will still exist in the DOM. So it would be great if empty filters were completely removed from the DOM.

As another example, if there is only one price in the range filler, the price range element is still displayed, but broken. In this case, it would be great to automatically remove the price range element from the DOM if there is only one price for price range.

Hi Hosein,
Thanks so much for your report, which, however, is once again an improvement and not a bug.

We have created an internal task in which we will collect and discuss suggestions for improvements to the new filter/sort features. If we implement the improvement, I will update this thread.

Best regards,
timmse

thanks @timmse, I apologize for the problem in choosing the type of topic.

Hi Hosein,

We’ve added this improvement in Bricks 1.9.8 beta, now available as a manual download in your account (see changelog).

Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

As with any beta release, please do not use it on a production or live website. It is only meant for testing in a local or staging environment.
