IMPLEMENTED: Nestable slider: Background & border settings for individual slide

Hi @thomas,

The nestable carousel element lacks a series of very important things, which is why I decided to share it with you directly.

Suppose we have several slides in the nestable carousel element. Currently there is no option to customize all sliders at once. Things like border, box shadow, border radius, etc. We now only have the option of padding. So now we have to customize each and every slider and this is time consuming. Of course, we can use css classes. But still not the best solution.

It would be great if you could add custom options (border, box shadow, border radius, etc) to the item section of the nestable slider element.

It’s even possible if you look at Elementor’s nested carousel widget.

@jolia Tagging team members as a follow-up on bug reports is helpful, but it’s not needed for new feature requests.

We can add a “Background” & “Border” setting under the “Slider” control group of the nestable slider. The box-shadow would have no effect as the slider is set to overflow: hidden which is required for the slider (or any slider library, really) to work.

thank you @thomas,

You are right. It will be great.

Hi again @thomas,

I apologize for tagging again. If you plan to add “Background” & “Border” to the slide group of the nestable slider element, it would be great if you also add the Gap control to this section.
Using this option, we can set the Gap value for all slides in a unified way, and this is great.

Hi Jolia,
We’ve added background and border settings in Bricks 1.8.5, now available as a one-click update in your WordPress Dashboard.

Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

Best regards,
