Image Size in Carousel Not Changing?

Hi

Image attached. What function are both of these image size options serving? No matter what I change them to, the images stay the same size in the carousel.

Think of that as max quality that images will have.
Image height is in the settings tab and you can choose adaptive height too.

@WeLoVeBricKs - thank you for the reply.

Couple follow ups…

  1. So if I set the “image size” under the “IMAGE” tab to 300x300… when the image is clicked for a lightbox - the full screen resolution will only be maximum 300x300 pixels (stretched to fit screen)? I thought this was the case but it looked like the image was using the full resolution regardless of what was set.
  2. I stumbled across this post Nestable Elements (API) – Bricks Academy - which seems like the carousel is going to be discontinued eventually. Not sure if I should figure out how to use a nestable slider instead with dynamic images… couldn’t get it work yet.

It doesn’t affect images inside the light box. Well we want light box image to be in a good quality anyway so that’s alright. (and also browsers download only proper image size, so performance would be fine too)
I don’t think carousel element is going anywhere for the time being, so feel free to use it.

Ok, thank you. I was under the impression that the file size of the image would be smaller when a different size is set - but it appears to be the same file size no matter what resolution size is used.

I see now when I activate “adaptive height” - and then change the dimensions on the bottom (2nd) image option, the size does change.

Changing the dimension options on the 1st one/top section under “{pods_post_postimages}” doesn’t appear to change anything at all, no matter it is set too. Not sure if that’s a PODs thing.
