I want to share my latest Bricks Builder add-on with community; OoohBoi Kinekt - Scroll-triggered animations for Bricks Builder!

Hi @ooohboi - that would be awesome!

There’s always some conflicting info regarding cdns and gdpr so I prefer to load everything locally. This way I’m always on the safe side.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Hi @ooohboi

Today I updated to the new SNN Child theme, seems it conflicted with Kinekt plugin. After update the plugin settings completely disappeared from the Styles tab and no animations are working. If I disable the child theme they are working back to normal.

Any solution for this issue?

Thank you

Hi,
most likely bcoz Kinekt and SNN both load the GSAP. I haven’t tested any other child theme but the Bricks child theme with Kinekt. If there’s an option to disable GSAP with SNN try to give it a shot. GSAP and ScrollTrigger will be loaded with Kinekt anyway.

Cheers!

Hi @ooohboi , Thanks for response,

This is happening since last update of SNN child theme. Before that I used to use two - Child them and Kinekt plugin without any issues.

As soon as the SNN child theme is activated, irrespective of GSAP option enabled/disabled, the Kinekt options are disappearing from Bricks Styles tab.

I assume something in recent update of SNN theme is blocking those options. Before this update there is no issue.

Hope this helps, thank you

Do you still have this on the roadmap?

Many things are on the roadmap
Next to come: mouse events (click, hover) controlled timeline/animations and draw SVG on-scroll. A new Kinekt website and docs as well.

As for the GSAP “snap” feature, I can’t tell the exact time span. I’m quite limited with my spare time in first place, but it’s going to happen sooner or later.

Cheers!

@ooohboi That’s fantastic news!
As of now can able to find the conflict issue in current version?

thanks for continued support of the plugin

@ooohboi I found some performance issues after enabling the plugin. As soon as we enable the plugin the website and backend response is slowed down significantly. You can experience the lag when navigating through backend options.

This is happening on my other websites as well. FYI

Thank you

Hi,
Yesterday, I released Kinekt 2.0 (https://kinekt.ooohboi.space), which now includes subscription tiers. A lot of time and effort has gone into this version, including the aforementioned features. It has been completely rewritten for better performance and reliability.

As a thank-you to early supporters (those who contributed $20+), they will receive a 1-year subscription for free (a $30 value). If you’re one of them, please message me directly to claim yours.

What will happen to the free/older version of Kinekt?
It will remain available (and free), but there will be no further updates or upgrades.

I’m sorry if that was a disappointing decision for all of existing users!

That’s a good news! I have few questions regarding new version. Do we have any LTD available? and in new version do we have a way to save animations in class or save to some kind of preset?

I’m not sure I understood your question “Do we have any LTD available?”. Please try to be more specific (you may always contact me directly at oooh( DOT )boi29( AT )gmail( DOT )com).
As for the animation settings/presets, there’s nothing like that ATM however, it doesn’t mean that feature is not on the roadmap.
Cheers!
