How to set SEO for Posts?

How do you set the SEO title and description for a post? Usually you set the SEO in the Builder but the Posts are not made with the builder.
Am I missing something?

Hey, afaik that is planned but not integrated yet. I use a SEO-Plugin on top of Bricks - I tend to use SEOPress on smaller sites but ymmv. I’ve also seen The SEO Framework recommend but haven’t tested it yet.

Also I totally forgot but ofc you can choose to edit posts with Bricks in the general settings and then use the Bricks SEO options.

That’s a good point! If the posts are not written inside Bricks, how can one access the Bricks SEO settings without accessing the builder?

Good catch. Interested to hear how that would work, too.

Using SEOPress on all sites myself, so I always disable Bricks SEO options.

When you’re using a page builder for most of your site, it’s easy to forget that blog posts usually follow a different setup. If your posts aren’t created using the builder, that’s totally fine — SEO titles and descriptions are still easy to set, just in a different place.

If you’re using an SEO plugin like Yoast SEO or Rank Math, open the post in the WordPress editor. Scroll down below the main content area, and you’ll see the SEO plugin section. That’s where you can enter the SEO title and meta description manually.

You don’t need the page builder to do this. The SEO settings are part of the post’s backend and work independently of how the content is designed or laid out.

If you’re not seeing those SEO fields, double-check that your SEO plugin is active and that it’s enabled for posts in the plugin’s settings. Once it’s active, you should be able to control SEO for posts just like you do for pages.

or posts not created with the Builder, SEO titles and descriptions are usually set directly in the post editor or via an SEO plugin (like Yoast or Rank Math). If your platform doesn’t show SEO options in the post editor, check if there’s a separate SEO settings area or a plugin to enable these fields. You’re not missing much just the SEO settings might be located outside the Builder for posts.
