How to set hover style for global link theme style?

I have set my global link style via: Settings > Theme Styles > Links

However I don’t see a way to set the hover style - I would like a different color - and maybe transition it over 0.5s.

Thanks!

You used to be able to choose :hover from the pseudo selectors like any other element. But Bricks 2.0.2 removes the ability to set typography styles for links in Theme Styles with pseudo selectors. WTF.

Hi @ddcbf & @glp,

The selectors icon is now next to the theme style title, just like element selectors:

That does speak to the OP’s issue, but not the fact that styles are not able to be set when a pseudo is selected.

Oh, that’s strange. I just found this forum report, which seems to be similar to yours: WIP: Styling hover states of button in Theme Styles

But we’re still unable to replicate it locally:

It would be ideal if someone could provide temporary admin access to a site where we can replicate the bug.

I have created a blank site and sent the login details to you by email.

I suspect you have not styled the regular state, and that is why you see the hover style.
The ability to style the hover state disappears as soon as you style the same property in the regular state.

It happens even on a fresh site with no plugins.

Hi @glp,

Thanks, best to not share these playground login details here  @AMX has shared access to a site, and I’m able to replicate the issue there, but I still can’t reproduce it locally. I suspect there’s a setting I’ve enabled or disabled on my end that’s preventing the bug from appearing. I’ll share any further findings in the relevant thread here: WIP: Styling hover states of button in Theme Styles
