Trying to work out if this is user error or a hard limitation of Bricks.
Running latest version of Bricks (v1.12.4).
- I have been designing a site using the default breakpoint (Desktop), which seems to constrain the canvas to 1100px.
- I now want to add a widescreen breakpoint.
- I add it, and specify that it starts/is enabled at 1400px.
Where do I modify the ‘entire canvas’ to max out at 1300px?
If I select a parent section or its child container, and edit it to max-width of 1300px, nothing happens.
I also shouldn’t have to go section by section to edit this.
The parent section doesn’t actually listen to any larger values, remaining fixed at 1100px, though I can change it to smaller values (yay?).
The only command it seems to listen to, is if I set the width to 1300px.
But then, if you resize the browser window to 1400px to trigger the breakpoint, it suddenly snaps the edited section/container to the new, wider width. This is a very poor look and not something that happens at smaller breakpoints.
So where/how do I edit the site to have a FLUID canvas? If it is in another place in the UI, this needs to be made more clear as I’ve spent quite a lot of time trying to hunt for this. I’m also seemingly the only person on the forums/YouTube/etc who’s ever had this issue, as I can find no resources anywhere on widescreen breakpoints in Bricks. Guess everyone is cool with 1100px wide (or 100% spanning) websites?
Hoping that someone can help, but not confident as so far the forums appear to be a bit of a ghost town which is a shame, as this is an otherwise great product.
