I’m a web developer who builds sites with Bricks. I want to create ‘templates’ of entire website designs that I can download and use for new clients so I don’t have to make everything from scratch every time. Does that make any sense for what I’m trying to do? Maybe this is basic functionality, feel free to rip me apart if so.
Amazing! Thank you! So I could theoretically develop a “Template Bundle” for each website that I can then remote add? Am I understanding that correctly?
You can create a subdomain with a WordPress-Bricks installation and develop templates or full-page layouts there.
On the client side, simply insert the URL of the template from your subdomain’s Bricks installation. This way, you can use your templates. This is how I do it.
Oh, that’s fascinating. I guess I don’t know enough about the initial installation to understand how that works, but I was thinking about using subdomains anyway. Thanks for the tip!
