How to create a post slider with text on the right of the featured image

Hi, I was trying to fingure out a way to have a post slider with the featured image on the left and the content (title, excerpt, date and author) on the right of it. I don’t know if there is a way to have the content on the right of the featured image match the same post that is currently being shown in the slider? Any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated. Thank you.
