How to copy Bricks page

Used a Copy plugin to duplicate a Bricks page but just got a blank page with header and footer.
How to duplicate all contents of Bricks page, including elements and templates?

Awesome! Thank you for sharing.

@Abel - Is this a function within Bricks? I tried searching for this and can’t seem to find a way to “duplicate” or “copy” an existing Bricks Built page

With plugin Yoast Duplicate Post

You can use the “Copy (All)” function (see screenshot below).

Then Bricks > Templates > Add New > Edit With Bricks > Publish

Then Edit With Bricks > “Paste All” icon in the right sidebar of the new Template editor (it’s the down arrow icon).

I tried that but it seems they remain connected meaning when I edit one of them, the changes are passed to the other and vice versa.
Do you know how to create a disconnected copy of a template? It’s helpful in order to create variations of the same template.

Thanks

Did you try to copy the template and give a different name?

Sure thing. The edits I do to one of them are passed to the other.

When I copy all, then go to another page, the paste all button is greyed out.

Nice find, thank you. I had that setting already, in librewolf, a firefox variant. However, when I try the same copy paste in chrome it also does not work.

Then I read the part about https - that was it. I am working on a local dev server over http. I tried this on a live site with ssl and i was able to copy/paste across pages. (using ctrl+v/ctrl+c or the context menu). Just, not sure what “Paste all” is supposed to be for, it doesn’t do anything.
