I did create a custom 404 page using a community template in Bricks. But how do you make it the default page ?
It seems as if the default is the 404.php included as a file in the theme.

Hi @semiosis , welcome to the forum!
You have to setup your custom 404 page as a template within bricks » templates and assign the template type of “error page” to it, so it will become your default 404 page.

You don’t have to be an expert and don’t need to apologize, that’s what the forum is for.

To answer your question quickly: you can set the template type in the upper right when adding a new template:
