How to assign a Bricks template as the default blog/posts page

Hello,

I would like to ask how to properly configure conditions so that a Bricks template can be used as the default blog/posts page.

We understand that in the WordPress dashboard, there is a built-in setting for assigning a Posts page:

Settings → Reading → Your homepage displays → Posts page

My question is:
How can we configure Bricks template conditions so that, regardless of which page the user selects as the Posts page, the site will always display the Bricks template, instead of falling back to the default WordPress blog template?

Currently, if we set:

Settings → Reading → Your homepage displays → Your latest posts

WordPress still uses its default template, rather than a Bricks template.

I am aware that we can set the condition to “Individual” and manually assign the template to a specific page, which does work.
However, as you can imagine:

  • Clients may not know they need to do this

  • I also do not grant clients permission to use the Bricks editor

So ideally, I’m looking for a solution where:

  • Clients can simply assign a Posts page in the WordPress backend or

  • Even when using “Your latest posts”, the blog page will still use the Bricks template I created

Is there a recommended way to achieve this behavior?

Thank you very much for your help.
