How to answer the CTO asking questions about how bricksbuilder stores data

Hi, I was pushing Bricks to replace elementor in an existing site. The CTO was concerned about how Bricks stores data, particularly, the CTO does not like the fact that Elementor uses the database to store data.

He wants to move away from elementor due to this, and does not want to go back to a builder that does the same thing Elementor does.

What makes Bricks different from Elementor in this regard?

The data for the pages and templates is definitely stored in the database. (in the wp_postmeta)

okay, thanks. will mark this as answered

Curious as to where else he expects data to be stored? I wish a builder could create an editable file for the structure of a page instead of storing that in a DB, but a database is standard for any website.
