Current Bricks on try bricksbuilder via Firefox 120.0 (64-bit) on Ubuntu 22.10

Hi everyone,

I am currently doing this YouTube tutorial and at this time mark he is copy/pasting a basic text and a button into the block.

I am trying this on the current try.bricksbuilder.com and although having tried to paste dozens of times in all kinds of variations could not manage to have anything pasted. Am I missing something?

It’s a common Firefox issue. It sounds like Firefox is blocking access to your clipboard for the Bricks site. Take a look at this video that others have said solves the issue: https://youtu.be/b2x2ITbrsGQ?si=2BRycpAbDo8RBlmP
It’s by the guy who writes the OxyProps plugin but in it he shows how to resolve copy and paste in Firefox on a Bricks site.

For anyone reading:

  1. about:config → Search for “asyncClipboard”

  2. Toggle from false to true:
    dom.events.asyncClipboard.readText
    dom.events.testing.asyncClipboard
