How adding a filter month/year (a select filter) applied on post date (a query loop of posts)?

I’ve tried to use the select filter but it doesn’t allow to use the post date field.

Any suggestions?

There are numerous posts about this but no one from the Bricks team is answering… Perhaps we need to add this to the Feature Requests (Ideas) page and hope that it gets upvoted enough.
