Highlighting while moving the cursor changes values in input

Bricks Version: 1.5 RC
Browser: Chrome 104, Edge 104, Firefox 103
OS: Windows

Not sure if this is intended; whenever I tried to highlight a value in an input, it changes the value while dragging the cursor back and forth. I tried this on Chrome, Firefox and Edge and it displays the same behaviour.

A recording of this issue here:

Hi @teoeugene

Welcome to the forum!

I can confirm the behavior.

Will add an update when there is more info to share.

In the meantime you should be able to select the value by double clicking in the field.

I’ve also find this incredibly frustrating…it’s been there for a long time. I think it’s because of the feature that allows one to increment/decrement values by dragging up/down. The problem is that it’s WAY too sensitive. Basically whenever I highlight the value in a field, the number ends up being a totally different value.

Ah I wasn’t aware it was a long-time issue. I’ve just started seriously using Bricks even though I’ve gotten this over a year ago. It is a minor annoyance when I want to quickly select a value and use my keyboard keys to increase/decrease the value, only to find that the value became a decimal. I might have to change my habit to double clicking instead for now
