Hey
I´d love to know peoples opinion on motion.page and Bricksforge. I´ve been using motion.page for a while now and I really love it! The UI is super clean, it´s fast and it´s fun to work with imo.
However, I stumbled across Bricksforge lately and noticed that it offers similar things like motion.page when it comes to GSAP animations. But apparently Bricksforge offers even more than that.
Now I´m not really sure what to do: Keep motion.page or switch to Bricksforge and have even more than “just” GSAP (Pro Forms which I could actually use on one of my clients websites and other cool things).
Maybe some of you even have both or have used one in the past and then switched to the other one. I´d love to hear why you made your decision or why do you think one is better than the other
And as someone who has worked with motion.page: How robust are the GSAP tools in Bricksforge? I watched some videos on YouTube and overall it looked pretty good, although in one video the user had a bug with a timeline he couldn´t solve.
I´m curious to hear why you chose one over the other and maybe even if you regret that you chose one over the other.
And what I´d love to know is how the responsiveness works. I know that motion.page is currently working on a way to make it more responsive. Currently you have to duplicate the timeline and toggle the visibility on or off for the different breakpoints. Is that how it works in Bricksforge, too? Or does Bricksforge have a better way to adjust animations for different breakpoints? I couldn´t find any information about that so far.
(I know there´s a playground for Bricksforge and I´ll probably try it out very soon, but I´m still interested in your feedback )
Thanks a lot for your feedback! That helps me a lot!
Edit: What´s really interesting btw is that Bricksforge seems to have the Lifetime sub available which, in the long run, would probably save me a lot of money
