is there a way to cluster the google maps markers with many pins? as far as i can see, there is no option in the widget. does anyone here have experience in implementing this manually?

One Year later^^. It’s not possible at the moment but they are planning to make dynamic map markers. So I hope the will add also the cluster functionality of gmaps 
I’ve created something like this with wpgeodirectory. they have the cluster-functionality.
