Give developers a hook to support 3rd party ACF fields

Give developers a hook to support 3rd party ACF fields. Currently there is no proper way to add proper support for custom or 3rd party acf fields. Or build support for these.

There is plenty of great extensions for ACF we should be able to support:

• Advanced Custom Fields: Extended – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org
• Advanced Custom Fields: Image Aspect Ratio Crop Field – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org

You can use these plugins with custom functions so could you elaborate on what you mean by proper support? What would you expect or how would you imagine this to work?
