From Wireframe to 3rd Party CSS Framework

So with Brick now being able to import a 3rd party css framework, say Tailwind or Bootstrap.
The Youtube videos on the subject make it look easy to do.
But has anyone actually managed to go from the bricks wireframe(s) to using one of the frameworks above? If so, was it an easy process? Were there any ‘gotchas‘ to look out for?

Also, to add a bit more intricacy, how would one import and use a css framework like Bulma (which also use vanilla js) along with CSS.

I don’t think those frameworks (Tailwind especially) makes sense in Bricks (or other WP page builders).

Without a system or external plugin that cleans up unused CSS, it will be a waste to load the entire framework’s CSS on every page.

There are a few lightweight CSS frameworks made for Bricks that you may want to try.

I use CF.

Thanks for replying.. I’m still confused..
Why would one go through the setup of everything in CF just to import it into Bricks.. since Bricks now allows you to do all of that natively in it’s different managers? What’s the advantage of using CF since Bricks provides all of that now?

There are some details here:

I am not 100% sure how much of it is now natively possible in Bricks Builder. I haven’t looked deeply into it yet.

Perhaps others can give a definitive answer.

Do you ever use the Bricks wireframes?

No. I use Brixies. I find them aesthetically pleasing. There’s another newer one with the same vibe called Pixflow.

cleans up unused CSS

This statement is misleading. You never produced unused CSS with Tailwind CSS.

Are you aware of any Youtube video tutorials that demonstrate method(s) of how one would use Bricks wireframes AND THEN bulk change the class names, variables, etc?

I’m not really understanding how we use wireframes.. and then create themestyle(s), class names and variables without breaking all that was done in wireframe.
