Hi there, I have a problem with the form element in that when you click into a textarea, some (but not all) fields that are set at 50% width jump down onto a new row.

This only seems to happen in Brave and Chrome. I don’t get this problem in Safari. I don’t have Firefox or any other browsers so cannot check those.

Hi Ian,
Thanks so much for your report!

Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the issue using chrome on your site.
Can you test it again using an incognito window / disable every browser extension?

Best regards,
timmse

Hi,

Sure, I tried that and it would appear to be Grammarly that is causing this. With no extensions enabled it works just fine. With just Grammarly enabled, I get the problem.

Are you able to install the Grammarly extension and test at your end?

Is there anything that can be done do you think?

Additionally, I installed Grammarly into Safari and the error happens there also.

When you click on a textarea it triggers the grammarly extension so it can start checking text. Grammarly is enabled on this editor I am typing into now and I don’t see any errors.

Me again, sorry…I did a bit of googling and apparently you can add attributes to the textarea…

  • data-gramm="false"
  • data-gramm_editor="false"
  • data-enable-grammarly="false"

It appears to be a known problem tho.

Can you provide a link to the source?

I found something here…not sure if it helps?

I don’t think “banning” or disabling Grammarly is a good idea
