Fluent Form Integration or more customizable internal Form Builder

Hi there guys,

i didnt find anything on the forum nor on the Roadmap about any plans regarding the Form Builder.
Are there any plans with FluentForm, to make it customizable inside Bricks?
Is the current integrated Form Builder going to be more customizable anytime soon?

Thanks in advance for your answers.
Cheers Omar

hey @webdev @jornes thanks for your answers. Its not about the money for me, its about beeing practical. I am comming from Oxygen where i had multiple plugins to reach a safisfying point to be working from. I dont want so start again to buy multiple plugins to reach that goal again, with bricks i have a very solid base. Hope you get my point.

Cheers Omar

The problem comes down to which external tools do they support and how does that impact the development of the product. I believe Bricks should be focused 100% on Bricks not third party integrations. Plugin developers are free to use the API to enhance thier products to integrate more closely with Bricks. We can all benefit from raising awarness with them (plugin devs) to prod them improve their integration with the builder. The Bricks team is focused on the right thing IMHO, lets not add unnecessry distrations.

In my opinion, something like Fluent form styler is not supposed to be done by the builder’s core. There are plenty of 3rd party plugins. If they support all of them, how many elements does Bricks need to have in the builder?

Bricks should focus on the features which a builder suppose to have, like copy/paste, cross-domain copy/paste(Oxygen relies on HydrogenPack for this), etc., popup builder, a form builder(at least this is available in Bricks while Oxygen doesn’t have one), and more.

I do agree with both of you. 100%. A Builders focus shouldnt be a Form Bilder. My Question, is as stated not an Feature Request. Maybe the part that i chose to put the question into this thread implied that i am askin for this feature to be implimented. I guess that answers my Question then

And yes @jornes, in Oxygen i used OxyExtras, SwissKnife(earlydays) & Hydrogenpack to archive what i needed.

Anyway thank you guys for taking the time to answer to my Question.
Cheers and have a lovely Evening

Tbh, I don’t mind buying 3rd party add-ons for general elements and elements for enhancement(as needed). But not for the features the builder’s core is supposed to have, like what Hydrogen Pack did was a mistake. It was also a mistake to buy HydrogenPack at that time.

My question came up because Bricks has an integrated Form-Builder, which then raised the question as to why add an element which is there to use but not fully configurable. Id rather have no Form-Builder or one i am able to Edit however i feel like. As to the conflict we had with HydrogenPack, yes i fully agree with you.

I found the Bricks built in form builder more than sufficient for basic forms such as Contact Us. No need to add in the simple Contact Form7 plugin.

I would raise this with Fluent forms, they could as well offer a visual styler for Bricks.
