I’m currently using WPGridbuilder for my current filter need - I’m able to create a filter dropdown for e.g. Posts Years - it is based on grouping the years of all the posts - no ‘years’ taxonomy needed - I’m wondering if this could be done with Bricks and if so how.

An option Champ Year of publication would be needed and welcome.
I totally agree with @Guy.
I have a “News” CPT and, as I was adding the filters in the archive page, I realized that there is no native “year of publication” option in the filters while I thought it might come as “standard”.
I searched in the Ideas page but found nothing related. Do you think we should submit an feature request for this?
It a missing feature that should be in there from the beginning - I added some custom taxonomy to get around this
We shouldn’t have to add a custom taxonomy for something basic like this.
All posts in WordPress have a save date entry and we should be able to order, filter, or sort by this field. I am going to open a feature request. I will post it here in case you want to upvote it.
