Dynamic filter dropdown

I’m currently using WPGridbuilder for my current filter need - I’m able to create a filter dropdown for e.g. Posts Years - it is based on grouping the years of all the posts - no ‘years’ taxonomy needed - I’m wondering if this could be done with Bricks and if so how.

Support for a dynamic tag for publication year would be needed.

An option Champ Year of publication would be needed and welcome.
