Duplicator or All in One WP Migration?

Hi there

I usually develop websites locally with Local and then I migrate them using Duplicator or All in One WP Migration.

I have this workflow since years and never had issues.

I am now trying Bricks for a web project and loving it so far.

However online I find now guides for Bricks with these 2 plugins.

Is there another way to do it? I would prefer to do it via plugin rather than manual …

Any experience with these 2 plugins + Bricks?

I use all AIOWP for small site (± below 2gb). For large site I use Duplicator or manual.

I use Remote Desktop with Windows Server, sometimes internet connection from my side is really hard to access some hosting. With RDP I can move it easily and light-fast connection speed.

The best way to move a website is manual becouse:

  • Faster Migration
  • No issues

If you do it with a plugin, there is always a risk that your site will have some errors after you put it up on the new domain or the new hosting.

you guys overcomplicating things

use WPVIVID

remote site moving feature is great domain to another domain…etc natively supported
you don’t deal with URL change and stuff too it just makes the restoration and changes URL auto…

all of this features are free btw. I have pro but usually I only need free features on most cases.
