DUPLICATE: WPGB Facets and Bricks Filters Don't Work with Nested Components

Neither WP Grid Builder facets nor Bricks native filters work with loops that are inside a nested component. With WP Grid Builder, the facet does not detect loops that are inside components, period - nested or not. But I guess this one should be fixed by WPGB and there’s nothing extra to do on your end. Still, just letting you know.

With Bricks filters, they won’t detect nested component loops - just checked, and it seems to only do this with nested components.

For WP Grid Builder, I found a workaround using their docs. Will post it in the “How To” section for other people.

Hi @FilWi, please take a look at this forum post and you can read other answersas well, to get more info on what is supported or not: Basically, you have two limitations regarding components ↔ query filteres: Query filter element should never be inside the component You can only connect query filter element to the query, if it’s defined on the main (top) element of the component, but not if it’s defined inside, like in your case. Hi @robp, This will not work. You can only connect filters to the components, where the query loop is on the root element and it will not work, if the query loop is inside one of the nested elements in the components. Hope that explains it, Matej
