DUPLICATE: Unexpected behavior of Lightbox from Product Gallery

Browser: Safari 16.6, Chrome 139
OS: macOS
Bricks Version: 2.0.2
Bricks Child Version: 1.1

I’ve setup a custom Single Product page, and I’m using the Product Gallery element to display the images. For some reason, when you click the main image a few strange things happen:

  • Image loads, but No Lightbox Background
  • Lightbox is off-center.
  • On first load:

On subsequents clicks to the lightbox image, it has an unexpected and quick zoom in or out effect. You can click outside the image area to exit.

  • On subsequent attempts to load the lightbox:

On subsequents clicks to the lightbox image, it has this subtle zoom effect.
Now you can’t click your way out of the lightbox, ESC key only.

I’m comparing this to a Carousel item, which loads {woo_product_images} just fine and the lightbox works as expected out of the box. The uploaded version is with all plugins disabled with the exception of WooCommerce. See video for more reference.

It seems to be a specific issue with the Product Gallery, I’ve tried with the Image Gallery and Carousel with no issues.

Hi Franco,
Welcome to the forum!

The problem has already been reported. Please disable cascade layer in Bricks » Settings » Performance which should fix the issue for now.

I’ll close this thread accordingly, and we’ll update the original thread once the issue is resolved.

Best regards,
timmse
