DUPLICATE: Text Link Icon SVG fill color not Change on hover state

I just noticed that when we use a text link and add an icon (using a SVG) on hover state we cannot change the fill color. Eventhough we change the fill color it change the nomrla state color too.

You are right, that will not work on Hover, since those controls are handled a bit differently than the others. The same issue was reported here:

Hi Yesid, Now I finally know what it’s all about You’re right. Currently, it doesn’t work because the icon control (and some others) is not a CSS control. Since we have to rewrite the whole control, we can’t implement a “simple fix” but will change that in the future. Until then, you can use a simple workaround: set a width/height of 100% for your icon and add the desired widths/heights in the Style > Layout tab, or use custom CSS instead. Best regards, timmse

and it’s already in our bug tracker.

For now, I suggest you use other controls to change color. You can use “Color” control below, and it will change the SVG color, and it works on hover.
