This was all working fine. I have theme style to set No Caption on images, Bricks set as External CSS. Now, when, even with all the suggestions in various posts about ensuring height and width 100%, Cover, etc, this tag class is taking precedence over the styles applied to classes on the images, which is breaking position absolute.

Yeah, I think it’s the external files thing. Though, with Brixies.co, i sent in a support ticket, and they showed that even after doin to external files, it was working. With the DB changes happening in 1.11, what version downgrade will work until this issue is resolved?
Well, it depends on which styles are loaded in parallel - and if one of these layouts contains a figure tag, that’s exactly what happens. Accordingly, it is very individual and a blanket statement such as “it works” or “it doesn’t work” is not possible.
A downgrade to an older version will not work either, as the problem has always existed. However, switching to inline styles should solve the problem.
We will update this thread as soon as the problem is solved. I am closing this report and marking it as a duplicate.
