DUPLICATE: SVG Icons Not Applying Classes

Browser: Chrome 110
OS: Windows
Video: Loom Message - 26 June 2024 | Loom

There appears to be a bug when using SVG icons in Bricks. When creating and applying a class to a SVG icon and then setting its width and height and also fill color it is not being applied to the other icons with the same class.

To replicate:

  1. Insert an icon element, select a SVG and create and activate the class.
  2. Change width and height, set fill color etc…
  3. Duplicate this icon.
  4. While the class is active change color, width and height etc… the other icons are not updated.

Is this a bug or am I missing something? please see the link above for a video demo of the issue. This is in the latest version of Bricks btw.

Thanks

Hi,
Thanks so much for your report.

That’s a known issue, but it is not yet solved, as it requires a massive refactoring of the icon- and other controls.

I’ll close this thread accordingly. We’ll update the original thread as soon as we’ve fixed the issue.

Best regards,
