DUPLICATE: Section's Background-Repeat Choice Does Not Set On Frontend

Browser: Chrome Version 105.0.5195.102

There is a background image in the section on the page, however, when setting the background-repeat in the style panel, it does not save the option that is set since updating to 1.5.1.

If I set root {background-repeat: no-repeat;} in the section in the CSS tab, then it works on the front-end. (I have done this because otherwise the image repeats on the site)

That’s an annoying bug indeed. Do you happen to have the background size set to custom? If so, I believe it’s already been reported. It sounds like a fix is in progress as well.
