DUPLICATE: Same fonts file preloaded multiple times

Im optimizing my site a bit but I noticed that fonts are preloading multiple times. 1 file is preloaded 4 times, another is loaded twice.

I used the Google Fonts before and then used bricks to download them to local, then turned off Google Fonts. This is the Space Grotesk font:

Inter loads twice for whatever reason?

Is this a bug? Of course the issue disappears when disabling the preloading of fonts, but preferably I want them turned on.

I have a feeling the issue wouldve been that the google font was still being used in some places, but i i’ve ran past everything twice to make sure that wasn’t the case anymore.

Thanks so much for your report!

That’s actually not a bug, it’s just how google serves the font and its unicode ranges.

We’re currently trying to optimize this somehow, since it’s understandable that you might think this is a bug—that’s what I thought at first, too :smiley:
