Hi,

I’ve noticed a bug with the product gallery lightbox in Bricks 2.0.2.

When clicking on product images:

  • The lightbox does not actually load.
  • Only the images themselves are displayed.
  • The layout of the gallery is broken/mucked up.

This issue occurs consistently on my site after updating to 2.0.2. I have tested with caching disabled and with no custom CSS/JS affecting the gallery, and the problem persists.

Could you please confirm if this is a known bug in 2.0.2? And if so, is there a fix or hotfix planned?

I am having the exact same issue since upgrading to 2.0.2. so definitley believe it must be a bug. Hopefully it will be noticed and sorted out. For now I will just disable lightbox in settings till it’s sorted.

I am experiencing this on 4 separate sites, so it definitely is a bug.

Hi @schnicel and @Tristan,

this is a known bug, already reported here:

We already have an internal task for it. Once we release a fix, we will update the topic mentioned above.

One user posted (untested) fix inside the other topic, but you can also turn cascade layers off, which may solve the issue.
