DUPLICATE: Overriding – WooCommerce customer-new-account.php file not possible - not hooked?

Browser: Chrome 110
OS: macOS / Windows / Linux / etc.
URL: Link

Hi there,

Every customer has the option to create an account during checkout by checking the respective box.
Screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/IRtN81O

After the purchase is completed, the customer receives the default WooCommerce email notification generated by customer-new-account.php.

Here’s the strange part: although I placed a copy of the file in the correct folder for overriding purposes (bricks-child/woocommerce/emails/customer-new-account.php), any code modification — even a simple echo statement — is completely ignored.

I also started a support thread here: Overriding – customer-new-account.php – template not working | WordPress.org
However, none of the suggested solutions have resolved the issue.

Could it be that Bricks is not hooked into this WooCommerce action on the checkout page?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,
Alex

WIP: Pay for order link goes to full width login page with no top/bottom margins

This is already a WIP.
