Font rendering correct in the backend in the footer template, but not on the front end… Unless the fonts are within the body of the page.

Now I understand the issue. It has already been reported here but will be solved with the soon-to-be-released Bricks 1.7.2. If you still have problems after the update, please report them in the mentioned thread.

If a custom font is added using styles, the browser only loads the regular (weight) font variation - even if the font weight of elements are set to something other than 400.
If an element is added to the canvas and the font-family and weight are added to the ID selector, then the correct font files are loaded and the text displays correctly. This …
