DUPLICATE: Deleting Component property removes the wrong one

Video: Bricks Support Video

I did have a quick search on here but couldn’t find anything similar, so I’m not sure if it’s just an issue with our instance, or if someone could point me in the direction of a fix that has already been discussed.

When using the component widget, and linking some properties to it, I have created a property that I no longer need. But when I go to delete the property, it removes a different property that is already linked and in use. I’ve added a video link above which shows me deleting the CTA Background Image property and as you can see it deletes the ‘Icon 1 Icon’ property instead.

Any info would be appreciated!

hi @JVDT,

this should be solved in 2.0 beta version. Can you check with that one, and let us know?
Here is a bug report about it:

Okay, thank you! Was holding off from updating to 2.0 until it was out of Beta as this will be a clients live site. But glad to hear it’s been looked at. Thanks for the info!

Yes - definitely do not update the live site to 2.0-beta, and wait for the stable release

I’ll close this topic, and link it to the other one, so that if somebody will visit, it will see that it’s solved.

Thank you,
Matej
