DUPLICATE: Custom toggle button for mini offcanvas cart issue

Hello

so I built a custom floating button that should open the Bricks offcanves mini cart. I have the css selector of the mini cart icon set.

As the value I use

show-cart-details

Now the offcanvas open up correctly like with the official mini cart icon button, but it is not possible to close the cart with clicking in the viewport. It is only possible to close it with the close icon button.
With the official mini cart icon button one can click anywhere in the viewport to close it. What I’m missing here?

//Edit: This is a weird bug. The custom button works like intended but not in the Bricks preview page that one that gets generated from the Editor (/?bricks_preview=1696557699) - This is not the first time I’m seeing the preview behaves differently than the front end

Hi Mike,
Is this a bug report or a how-to question?

The best would be a URL where I can see and understand the problem.

Best regards,
timmse

Hey,

Thanks for your response. Well it was a How-to question in the beginning and the question arised because of a bug I didn’t know of. It is an Adult page I’m working on so I’m not posting it public. And as I said the issues / inconsistent behavior is within the preview page, not on the front end.

No problem at all

I’m sorry. I had a break from working on that page for a while and forgot about posting this issue and posted it here detailed where I actually found the reason for this behavior. You confirmed my findings there. I could not reproduce the editor preview issue with 1.9.2 so since this topic here is more or less a duplicate it can be deleted. Sorry.
