DUPLICATE: Can not Pass ID in interactions section in a component

Hi,

I am trying to create a simple component—an image with an off-canvas. When the image is clicked, the off-canvas should open with more details about the image (title, description, etc.).

Here’s my setup:

I’ve tried creating a field with a # and one without, so that in the interactions panel, I pass the one with the #, and in the off-canvas, I pass the one without (making sure that apart from the #, they are identical). However, this doesn’t work either.

When this is not in a component, the issue disappears, and it works fine.

The problem is that the off-canvas does not open when I click the image.

Browser: Chrome 110 OS: macOS / Windows / Linux / etc. I’ve got a component setup that has an interaction set. I want to be able to pass a CSS selector for the scroll-to interaction, so I’ve connected a text property to the CSS selector field. In my DOM I see the interaction added, but without the selector I’ve set. Whenever I set a selector on the component directly, which of course makes it fairly useless, the interaction does work so it seems the rest of the setup is fine.

I marked this topic as a duplicate, linked it to our internal task, and will close it so that we have the same issues linked to the topic above.
