DUPLICATE: Button -> SVG Icon :hover has no effect

OS: Windows

If I create a button with a custom SVG icon, I can set the ‘fill’ property to change the icon color.

However, if i add a ::hover in the builder, I can try to override the fill but it has no effect in either the builder or the frontend.

I understand I can do this in CSS by targeting the icon directly, but it seems like unexpected behavior.

My bad - I see that this is a duplicate of an issue that’s been around for a while.

Correct, the problem has been known for a long time, but unfortunately has not yet been fixed.
