DUPLICATE: 1.7 Beta - Style not showing in Front end & style keep disappearing in builder

Bricks Version: 1.7 Beta
Browser: Chrome 90
OS: Windows
I created a test team card with 1.7 Beta. All style are look find in builder but not showing in front end.
Another issue is whenever I style one child elements, style from another child element ( Position, padding, heading, text and background color) is keep disappearing.

Thanks so much for your report!

We had a very stupid bug in the 1.7 beta release that did not add the styles correctly in the frontend (if you were logged out). This has already been fixed with a hotfix, so please download 1.7 again manually from your account.

If the problem persists:

  1. deactivate all plugins and clear your browser cache.
  2. Can you please paste the link to the page where I can see which styles are missing and show me how it should look?

@timmse … Styling is working find on second reinstall. But I found the another issues with

tag. It looks good in the builder but extra empty

tag and “margin-bottom: 24px” are added by Bricks at the front end . I attached inside builder screen short and frontend link for you to check.

Yep, this is because of this bug with the basic text element, which adds unwanted p-tags: WIP: Basic text element adds 2 extra paragraph

We’ll re-upload 1.7beta (basic text fix included) later this day. Please check the thread mentioned above, I will let you know there.

I’ll close this thread, since it’s a duplicate :slight_smile:
