Description Option for CSS Classes

As we build more complex layouts with Bricks, it’s common to create specific CSS classes tailored to various components and design elements. To make managing these classes more efficient and intuitive, it would be incredibly helpful to have a description field within the CSS class section.

Why This Feature Would Be Helpful

  • Improved Readability: When working on projects with multiple specific classes, a short description would clarify each class’s purpose at a glance.
  • Easier Maintenance: For teams or future edits, understanding the intention behind a class without diving into the code saves time and reduces confusion.
  • Enhanced Collaboration: When multiple people work on a project, having class descriptions ensures everyone is on the same page, making collaboration smoother.

How It Could Work

  • In the CSS class editor, add a simple “Description” field for each class.
  • When you hover over a class name in the builder interface, a tooltip displays the description, providing instant insight into what the class does, if the developer chose to add it.

This addition would streamline workflows and make working with custom classes in Bricks Builder more efficient and user-friendly.
