Custom overlay color on a post archive for each post

I would like to be able to define custom overlay colors for each post in a post listing.
The listing should look like this: https://www.behance.net/gallery/4808891/website-lo-trans
But I dont know how to setup the custom field via ACF so I can pull the color to the post template I created in bricks. The problem is that in bricks template the background color cannot be dynamic data. I can setup a dynamic image but a dynamic color is not possible.
