I see this post here: How to add images to templates This is a method where a featured image is added to the template but then everywhere a featured image element is used, that image appears in the template. Less than optimal.

What I want to do for my own libraries, not to compete with the Frames product, but for my own personal libraries, how do I include a sample image for a preview that fits inside the folder list?

No amount of resizing has worked so far.

I would also like to know how to enable / disable the export icons over the sample items in the folder view.

Ok. I have sorted out how to get the thumbs the right size to show correctly in the Templates folder list.

Now if I knew how to enable / disable the icons and the links in the template interface, specifically the Export icon for each saved template shown in the UI grid.

Well I finally got an answer from Sridhar.

If a template to be inserted from a remote source, Bricks omits the download icon by design.

I hope this helps others who might want to share their designs.
