This is not so much a Bricks Builder question but a Wordpress/Bricks Builder question so apologies if I’m asking in the wrong place. Delete the post if so.
I need to create a website for my sons football team, I want two sides to the site, a public facing view and a member side. If the person signed in as a member I want to give them essentially a different site (4 or 5 pages with it’s own menu, essentially hiding the public side of the site etc).
I do not want to give them access to the Wordpress dashboard!
Is this possible with Wordpress and can I make it using Bricks?
there ca nbe anything and everything hiding or showing depending on conditions. that can be login in user or not.
that can be all section or some of the blocks anything goes.
for blocking people not to see wp-admin easy too there are lots of plugins for this but I would prefer a simple code snippet. install code snippet plugin if you don’t know how to use child themes.
here;
this forwards people to frontend after login they will never be able to see the wp-admin dashboard. except administrator role.
+1 to Simple Membership Plugin if you’re needing some suuuper simple and cheap.
If you’re building something that needs to scale to thousands or millions of users, processes payments, and give users lots of ways to log in (facebook auth, passwordless, etc.) then I recommend Memberstack. We just built a native integration with Bricks
