Create a (header.php) file in the child theme

Hello friends.

I want to add a (header.php) file to the child theme.

Am I creating an empty file. Or do I copy the header file from the main theme to the child theme? Or create a new header file and add specific definitions to it?

I want to make sure I’m doing it right

Hey @JMS,

usually you’d copy the original file into your child theme and adjust it to your needs.

May I ask what you’re trying to achieve here? Never had to adjust any of Bricks’ original files up to this point. :slight_smile:
