Copying Bricks Template from Staging to Prod

Hi all,
I am building out a new template on my staging site and in the near future, I’d like to copy over the structure, styles and classes of that section template over to my production server.

I don’t want to copy over the whole staging site as was described in Taking a Bricks site live and combining with existing live site - #34 by alanj

I just want to move the new template over and have all of the classes be present / registered in the database when it is instantiated on prod. Then I would cut and paste that section into my targeted destination page as normal.

Is there a way to do this easily without replacing the entire production site?

In general it is possible to copy/paste elements from one site’s builder to another if Bricks is the builder for both of them.

The styles follow the elements as well. But about the custom classes you created in your staging site I am not sure if they are transferable, and if yes, whether the styles are transferred as well or not!

I tried copying an entire custom section with custom classes and it actually worked. Surprise surprise.

Brough up two browser windows, prod and staging. Copy, paste. Pretty cool.
