I have another small UX suggestion related to colors and transparency.
The request
Show a checkerboard background for any transparent color preview, consistently across the UI, not only in some contexts.
In the screenshots attached:

The checkerboard background is visible in the color preview inside the color picker (great
). -
However, the same transparent color appears with a solid background in other places, such as:

the color preview swatch next to the color field
-
gradient color stops
-
This makes it harder to immediately recognise when a color includes transparency.
