Currently in Bricks there are 2 color management mechanisms:
Settings / Theme Styles / Colors. With color selection for:
Primary color
Secondary color
Light color
Dark color
Muted color
Border color
Info color
Success color
Warning color
Danger color
Colors Palette. Dynamically create colors and use them to select for Elements or “Theme Styles / Colors”
Currently, the Colors Palette is very inconvenient to create, edit, manage and select. I request using Pop-up Window to improve it.
Specifically, add the Colors Palette button on #bricks-toolbar. Clicking on it will open the Pop-up window to manage the Colors Palette (Similar to the Manage Classes / Variables window).
Please see my screenshots to get a better idea of what I mean.
Hi,
Thank you for submitting suggestions for improvement to the idea board. We review the new submissions at irregular intervals. Your submission has not yet been confirmed - but neither has it been rejected - it’s pending
This section of the forum is more for general discussion, which may help us decide whether a suggestion is “sensible” or not, depending on the traction of a thread and, of course, the number of votes on the idea board.
Good to see this feature in the Roadmap now. I really hope its a complete color management system with light/dark mode support. It would be great to create and manage the whole CSS framework without relying on third-party plugins.
Instead of creating a new Color Palette button, I think this should be implemented inside the Classes/Variables manager popup similar to how the new Typography generator is implemented.
