Color variable naming suffixes in v2.2 beta

When generating transparent, light, or dark variations of colors, could we have the option to change the suffixes.

For example, at the moment transparent variations have naming like:

--primary-t-1, --primary-t-2, etc.

I prefer having the transparency value, like:

--primary-90, --primary-80, etc.

So could we have the option to have a custom naming system, similar to how the typography and spacing does?

Would also love to have this. Kind of a no-brainer if you ask me.

Agreed. Even though I know somewhat it’s to differentiate Bricks Framework from other framework, but having the option to change the label is a great feature. With this I can use any wireframe without worrying

Yes, this definitely seems like a feature “miss”, and should allow more customization on the variable names generated.

I agree. A custom namespace delineated via a prefix or some other mechanism would be helpful.

I’m upping this.

I was fine with it initially until I needed the dark-5 (dark, 5% transparency for subtle svg bg or badges).

If I put it under dark-t-1, then dark-t-2 will be my dark 10% transparency, which is not making sense at all.
