My professional experience is that 95% of customers have the same billing and shipping address, mostly because they buy as private individuals.
It is much more common for corporate purchases to have different billing and shipping addresses.
The UX trend of 2025-2026 (e.g. Shopify) was to request the shipping address by default and request billing with a checkbox if it differs from the shipping address.
The built-in gutenberg-based woocommerce checkout has also worked this way for some time.
Could you also add a related condition here? Of course, such an option must also be added to the form checkbox element, if I understand the operating principle correctly.
