Change the Lightbox video output format size from a Video Gallery?

My Bricks generated website page with Video Gallery problem:
Kennedy High School – Reunion – ourseattle.org — Lolly and Mark in Sunset Hill

Running WP = 6.5.4, Bricks = v1.9.8 Web-browser = Chrome, Hosting = Bluehost.com

Successfully created a video gallery using the element from MaxAddons: Video Gallery. Loading local “media” files in MP4 format. Selected video output to be sent to “Lightbox”, instead of only other option: “inline”.

This plays the videos with one big problem: the popup Lightbox video size is tiny … really tiny maybe 320x180. My source video files are 960x540. No setting I’ve found in Bricks or MaxAddons relating to Lightbox settings has any effect on the output size of the Lightbox MP4 video files. I’ve configured Lightbox width = 960px, then I tried 80% and set height = auto, or anything reasonable. And yet the size of the Lightbox popup window never changes. It is always way too small. Cleared cache to no effect.

Should mention the structure is PAGE → SECTION → BLOCK → Video Gallery element, with a CONTAINER by itself within the SECTION. As a test, added a Bricks “video” element inside the CONTAINER and it plays the same local media MP4 video files inline, in a nice large format not in the restricted small size of the popup Lightbox video player output.

If the problem is with MaxAddons: Video Gallery code, then I am willing to try and create a video gallery from internal Bricks elements that play thru Lightbox or anything other than inline. Any hints on how to create a Bricks native video gallery that plays thru a popup window player, something akin to Lightbox, would be much appreciated. Though I am very new to Bricks and WordPress, I’ve been coding since 1977 in assembly and later C/C++.

If there is something I’ve missed regarding the MaxAddons: Video Gallery to configure the Lightbox popup window to be larger, or if there is a native WP Lightbox setting I’ve overlooked, that would work too.

Thank you

Still hoping to solicit any hints for using Lightbox with Bricks Builder.

Below is a comment I posted on another Lightbox question thread that has received no responses at all for their question either.

I am also trying to get some guidance from this Bricks forum regarding Lightbox. No replies at all after 9+ days … none. It is looking like if you are not already a WordPress coding expert … we are on our own as Bricks Builder users. No hints … not a single reply.

Seems like Reddit WP forum is once again the only effective Bricks Builder support available.

I have not found a comprehensive Bricks Builder users manual. Just a bunch of overview “tutorial videos” in which everything works perfectly, every time for the few features covered anyway. The “Bricks Forum” has a higher percentage of “no-replies” posts than any forum on a software topic I’ve yet seen. Go check it out for yourself. Daunting for new Bricks Builder users.

I have no doubt that Bricks Builder is a fantastic WP tool for current WP and HTML coding experts. The reviews, posted by experts are great. Have no reason to doubt them. However, anyone new-ish to WP or Bricks, like myself should abandon any hope of help from (non-existent) Bricks documentation or the Bricks Forum community. We should apply our time instead learning WP coding from the ground up. The majority of answered questions on the Bricks Forum are highly technical, code line specific posts that Bricks devs likely find intrinsically interesting.

There are no comprehensive Bricks Builder manuals, … no published books except one old eBook 129 pages in length. Search Amazon Books for “Wordpress Bricks Builder” and peruse the short list of Legos books, construction handbooks for clay bricks … zero results for Bricks Builder. Search for WordPress books, then let the avalanche wash over you. On YouTube there are myriad reviews of Bricks Builder and both short and long format tutorials. The problem is the YouTube algorithm rewards broad but inch deep topic coverage. Most everything presented works perfectly and parrots the sales material from Bricks Devs. This obviously is problematic for a real world use case.

Bet there is more user helpful info on the Bricks Builder investor relations web pages. I’m an SEC qualified angel and have participated in a series A financing round thru a prorata, so at least I could gather useful info from those webpages. If the original VC’s on the Bricks board have already scored their equity event and moved on, then development investment into Bricks is predicted to level off.
